Drowning in Depression
"Drowning in Depression": I'm drowning in a sea of sorrow, A deep dark ocean of despair, The waves of depression crashing over me, Taking me deeper and deeper into the abyss. I try to swim to the surface, To catch a breath of fresh air, But the weight of my thoughts and emotions, Drag me down, down, and down. The water fills my lungs, As I struggle to keep my head above, Feeling helpless and alone, In this vast and endless sea of pain. I reach out for a lifeline, A hand to pull me from the depths, But all I find are more waves, More darkness, more despair. Yet still I hold on to hope, To the possibility of a brighter tomorrow, And I keep swimming, keep fighting, Until I can finally break free from this depressed drowning.
